Bold and the Beautiful Recap: June 10, 2005

Nick and Brooke talk. He wants her to know that he has a commitment to marry Bridget and he knows that she loves Ridge. Brooke starts to show her insecurities as she talks about Taylor being perfect in every way. Why would she think that Ridge would choose her? Nick tells Brooke that Taylor may be impressive and maybe even walk on water, but that doesn't make Brooke any less impressive. After all, she ran a design house and raised two children. He says that RJ and Hope are lucky to have her, and Taylor has nothing on her. He asks her how she thinks Taylor would handle the situation if she were the one battling Stephanie? "Now you," says Nick, "I would want you on my side."

Bridget and Massimo talk. Bridget is concerned how this will faze the children. Massimo has a present for Bridget and Nick. It isn't one to open, but to be told about. He offers them his yacht and a wedding ceremony aboard ship. Bridget is thrilled, but really wanted to wait until the family was reunited. She says that Nick did want to marry aboard ship at one time, and she turned the idea down because she wanted the Church wedding with all her family and friends there. Massimo tells Bridget, that given this situation, and no matter how it turns out, someone is going to be hurt.

Stephanie and Taylor talk. Taylor tells her that Nick is more committed to Brooke, than he realizes. Stephanie asks how the talk went and Taylor says that Nick is a very direct person. Taylor's professional opinion of Nick. He is still in love with Brooke. Stephanie says that it will be Bridget who will end up being hurt. She is going to talk with her now, to prepare her.

Stephanie pays Bridget a visit. She offers her a shopping trip for the two of them. She tells Bridget that she believes Nick has unresolved feelings for her mother. Stephanie thinks that Ridge will leave her mother and return to Taylor. Brooke on the other hand will turn to Nick. Bridget tells her that Nick loves her, not her mother. She asks Stephanie to leave because she has heard enough. Bridget tells Stephanie to go to hell.
