Bold and the Beautiful Recap: October 06, 2006

Brooke drives herself home, both crying and remembering the conversation that she had with Nick and her last one with Ridge.

Stephanie and Eric talked about Donna picking Ridge up from the airport. She has planned a surprise welcome home dinner, with candles and romantic music. Ridge told her that he was glad to be home, that the trip was long enough. The two of them enjoyed dinner and Ridge went off to take a shower. When he was done, he came out and Donna was adorned in something a little more provocative, telling Ridge that she loved him. As the evening progressed, there was a knock on the door, and thinking that it was his mother, he became a little annoyed. However, when he opened the door, he saw Brooke standing there. When Donna offered to call Nick, Brooke told her "no" in not the politest of voices. She then told Ridge that she should have listened to him when he kept telling her about Nick. She then told Ridge, that she hoped it wasn't too late for them to have a life together again, and he told her that it wasn't. The two of them kissed as Donna stood there, by herself, looking in amazement at what had just transpired.

Bridget continued to try and reach Nick but found out that it was too late when she met up with Nick on the Shady Marlin, dripping wet. He told Bridget that her mother threw him overboard and walked out on him. He told Bridget that he didn't tell Brooke the news in the right way and it caused her to get angry and not understand, but she would later. Bridget then told him that the baby she was carrying was not his, but Dante's. Nick suddenly realized that he had lost yet another child, that would not be his. Bridget told Nick that she hadn't told Dante yet, and therefore maybe it would be possible for her mother and him to put things back together.
