Bold and the Beautiful Recap: September 22, 2004

Jackie and Deacon have both received calls from Massimo's secretary to come into the office immediately.  Jackie thinks that Massimo has found out about them.  She is fearful.  Nick comes in and says that he has received a message also.  Massimo enters the room and says to them all that he is making changes and he expects them to support him.  He says that his marriage to Jackie almost ended because of secrets.  Now, there is another one, but, this time he knows what it is.  He introduces a gentleman to Jackie, who acts like she already knows who he is.  The man says that he is glad to be working with her and she has no idea what he is talking about.  He tells her that Massimo has just purchased not one, but all his boutiques for her, making her the most powerful woman in the fashion world.  Nick says, there goes Christmas!! How can one top that?  Jackie says she won't create  any problems for Massimo anymore.  She has everything she wants.  Massimo tells Nick that his Mother will need help in running the company and so Nick will be helping her.  Nick, guffaws at what he is saying.  Deacon goes to leave, but Massimo stops him also.  He says for his loyalty, he will be rewarded by the Vice Presidency of the company.  Jackie is overwhelmed.  Nick suggests to Deacon, that they should leave the two of them alone.  Outside of the door, Nick says, "and you thought she was seeing someone else?"  "Hope you're better in the fashion world, than on following."

Rick goes into Insomnia.  He asks if Amber is there and the waiter tells him he just arrived for his shift and doesn't know.  Rick turns and sees Thomas carrying in a bag.  He asks Thomas what it is, and Rick comments that Insomnia does sell food.  He tells Rick that he just stopped in to get a cup of coffee.  Rick calls his bluff.  He warns him about Amber again.  Thomas says he's had enough.

Stephanie tells Amber that she is the same adolescent user she's always been.  Now, she's taking advantage of Thomas.  Stephanie reminds her that she took her under her wing and tried to instill in her values, but to no avail.  Amber asks Stephanie if she is going to call the police.  Stephanie thinks, and tells her that she will give her one more chance.  She appeals to her integrity.  She tells Amber to leave town.  She has already told Stephanie that she and Thomas can't stay away from each other, so this is the only thing to do.  Thomas walks in, finds his Grandmother there.  She turns to him and says that Amber has something to tell him.
