Bold and the Beautiful Recap: September 21, 2006

Bridget is dumbfounded when she finds out the results of her pregnancy. She orders Christian to give her another test, but he tells her that the lab would not make a mistake over such a simple test. As she talks about her pregnancy, Felicia, who is coming into the room, overhears the fact that Bridget is pregnant. Christian has to leave, after receiving a page while the two women remain. Felicia was concerned that the baby could be Dante's but Bridget quickly reassured her that it wasn't his. Then Felicia pushed for an answer as to who the father was. Bridget was reluctant to tell her but then admitted that it was Nick's child. Felicia listened as Bridget told her how it all happened. Brooke and Nick had gotten into another argument over Ridge, and Brooke ran to be with Ridge. Nick started drinking, took off his wedding ring and she just happened to be there at the time, when one thing led to another. Bridget started to weep, admitting that she was turning into the person that she vowed she would never become and cause all the problems all over again. She admits to Felicia that she doesn't want to break up her mother's marriage and so she knows what she has to do.

Brooke and Nick cozied up to each other and began making love. She told Nick how wonderful a lover he was, and how she hoped that her daughter could find a man just like him. Nick told Brooke that Bridget is on her own now and that her path is ahead of her for whatever the reasons might be. Brooke told Nick how safe she always feels with him, knowing that he would never betray her. As they held each other, Nick experienced what it was like to be guilty of spending the night with Bridget.

Phoebe brought Shane home from the hospital, after Hector had told Taylor that he was leaving the next day for a friend's guest house. He couldn't stay any longer. Taylor thought it was not the best of ideas, but the choice was up to him. Hector started to question Shane about several things, upsetting Phoebe and she took it upon herself to stand behind Shane. She leads Shane to the guest room when Hector decides that he is going to stay longer because he doesn't trust Shane at all. When alone, Hector contacts a friend at the police department for information on Shane. He receives a fax back stating that Shane has a record right on file in LA.

Upstairs in the guest room, Shane started to wonder how he could make his stay longer in the lifestyle that he was now in.
