Bold and the Beautiful Recap: July 01 2005

Brooke tells Stephanie that she must have been convincing to make Ridge choose the woman that she wanted for him. Brooke listens as Stephanie tries to tell her to re-connect the monitor. Brooke pays no attention and soon the machine is beeping. Brooke is saying to herself, "my God, it was real." The staff comes rushing in and the staff security comes in to take Brooke away and into custody.

Nick is talking with Jackie when he gets a call from Bridget on his cell phone. He tells his Mother that Dante was taking everything that was said, way too personally. He tells Bridget that he is on his way to the hospital. He rushes out telling Jackie that Stephanie just had a heart attack and he will let her know what happened. Nick arrives at the hospital just as the security guards are trying to take Brooke away. He intervenes and rescues her, taking her into "his" custody. Nick brings Brooke back to her house. Brooke tells him that she was so sure Stephanie was faking her attack. Nick asks Brooke why she wanted to be brought back here, and she tells him that tonight, she lost her husband, the Father to her child, the man she loves. Ridge chose to be with Taylor. They renewed their vows tonight inside Stephanie's room at the hospital. Brooke cries and Nick tells her he is sorry. He asks what Ridge had to say for himself, and then realizes that Ridge hadn't said anything yet, it was Stephanie. He tells Brooke to stop protecting Ridge, he's a big boy. Nick tells her that she has to have a plan. She says she can't go home now, because Ridge and Taylor are there, and now they are married and will be sleeping in her house and her bed. She tells Nick that Taylor is so perfect, what would it be like to be like that?

Taylor and Brooke kiss but Ridge is uncomfortable thinking that Brooke is upstairs and hasn't been told anything yet. He has to talk with Brooke first and goes upstairs to find her. Dante knocks at the front door. He tells Taylor that he is leaving. Ridge comes down the stairs and asks, "who the hell are you?" Taylor introduces Dante to her husband. Dante claims that he was leaving and was at Massimo's, and decided to stop by and wish Massimo's son congratulations. He goes to leave and Ridge tells him to wait. Ridge is not sure, but he is uncomfortable with the situation. Taylor tells Ridge, that she and Dante do know each other. Prince Omar hired Dante to sculpt her and paint her. She tells Ridge that Dante is the one who orchestrated her escape. Ridge asks why there appears to be more to the story? He wants to know why he is just now hearing about all of this, when they have had plenty of time for Taylor to tell him about this. Taylor asks Ridge to step privately over to her so she can explain and he says no, tell me now.

Bridget arrives at Stephanie's hospital room. She has been settled down now and is breathing comfortably. Stephanie tells her that Ridge and Taylor renewed their vows and Bridget cannot believe that Ridge did this to her Mother. Stephanie tells her that he made the right decision. Bridget realizes that Stephanie was the one that told Brooke. Stephanie tells Bridget that Brooke unplugged the ventilator, and went a little crazy.
