Ridge is talking with Brooke as she lies in bed, still feeling the anxiety pill that she took earlier, working in her system. She starts to become more focused and begins to hear what Ridge is saying to her. She says his name out loud questioning, whether or not she is actually hearing him, and he asks her what is wrong? Now, he sees that she is not quite coherent, and looks at her nightstand, where he discovers her bottle of pills. She tells him that she took too many, and he becomes horrified, at what he has done. He tells her that he didn't know she was on anything, or he would never have, gone near her. She asks him to leave. He apologizes again, and tells her once more, that he would never have done anything. He is sorry, and tells her that he will do whatever is necessary to make it up to him. Ridge heads for his office, questioning himself and his actions. What have I done?
Felicia and Bridget talk. Felicia tells her that she didn't think she would have to worry about Dante and her taking her baby out of the country. Bridget tries to explain to her what plans they have set up, so she could see her son daily, by webcam. Felicia starts to panic though, as Stephanie enters the room. Felicia would rather have Dante's family, from Italy, come to California, to visit. She just doesn't want him to leave her right now. Stephanie tells Bridget that she thinks that Dominick belongs with his Mother, here, while she is getting better. She believes it is because of the baby, that this is happening. Stephanie tells Felicia that Bridget can't be a part-time Mother to Dominick anymore than Felicia, herself can. It is to rough on both of them. She suggests instead, that when the time comes, she should be the one to raise the baby. Bridget can't just go putting her life on hold, waiting for the time, when you might need her. Bridget tells Stephanie that Dominick has a Father, and the right to take him out of the country to meet his parents. They have planned for this and Dante's relatives are waiting. Bridget leaves and says they will be back tomorrow to get Dominick, that they are leaving and will pick up the baby. Stephanie tells Felicia that if they try to take the baby out of the country, it will be the biggest mistake that they ever made. Later, Bridget returns to talk with Felicia again. She doesn't want to argue, after all she is happy that her sister is alive. She wants to find a way to make it work. She tells Felicia that she loves her. She suggests that perhaps Stephanie should stay out of it, but when it appears that Felicia's feathers are being ruffled, she drops the subject.
Nick is waiting with Jackie. She has just found out that she is going to be released. Massimo walks in and surprises both of them. Neither is too happy to see him. Jackie tells him that she will never forgive him. She warns that Brooke might not be Massimo's choice for a wife, but she is Nick's choice. Massimo tells them that Ridge is the one who will end up with Brooke and Nick tells him that Ridge will lose in the end. Nick tells Jackie that they are leaving and that he will go and check on Brooke. Massimo warns him to knock this time, because last time he found Brooke in bed with Ridge.
Brooke walks around her bedroom, carrying the vial of pills, the tranquilizers that caused her to lose focus of what was happening to her. Nick comes in to her, saying that he let himself in. He goes to hold her and he finds her trembling. He asks about the pills, and she says that she took them, because of the meeting with her Father. Nick asks her if her Father had come over to see her again, and she says "no." He asks, "was it Ridge, then?" He tells her that "he wants to know what happened there tonight.?
