'Bold and the Beautiful' Recap: March 31, 2008

While trying to say goodbye to Rick, Taylor found herself saying things to push him away from her and towards her daughter, Phoebe. When she had left and Rick came back into the house, Phoebe prepared a romantic dinner for the two of them. In the meantime Taylor found herself at a bar where she sat trying to figure out her feelings for Rick. She ordered sparkling water but alas received a glass of champagne, and what are the chances of that happening to us? While looking over it, she received a call from Rick. Taylor practically begged him not to tell her daughter about "their" thing, whatever it is they share. After all, the last thing she wanted to be was a clone to Brooke's way of living. Before anything could happen between the two of them, Phoebe had to leave for work and when Taylor returned, she found a "waiting" Rick in her bed. He asked Taylor to make love as he told her that he loved her.

Nick and Katie sparked a conversation of their own when Nick told her that he didn't want Bridget to get hurt. Bridget arrived unexpectedly, and the conversation soon changed when baby Jack fussed.

Ashley informed Ridge about the new and glorious opening of "Restless Style." She was aglow talking about it and very proud of her brother, Jack. Ridge changed the subject when he brought up how he felt about Brooke and how upset and confused he was, but talked highly about Ashley. Ashley tried to tell Ridge that she didn't believe she should be offering advice about Brooke, but alas, Ridge pushed the subject and Ashley told him that she believed that Brooke needed help professionally. She told him to think about the cycle that seems to go round and round where Brooke is concerned. It forced Ridge to admit that what Ashley was telling him was probably right. Later Brooke and Ridge talked about his conversation with Ashley, which upset Brooke for sharing their private life with his ex-fiancé. He told her that he didn't see them as a couple as long as she was involved with Nick. He insisted it would not work, while she protested that it wasn't Nick but baby Jack, that she was involved with, because that was her baby. She then turned the tables on him when she told him that he was too involved with Ashley again.
