Bold and the Beautiful Recap: March 12, 2007

Ridge again told Phoebe that Rick was much too old for someone like her. Phoebe, trying to keep it light, told her father that if Rick stopped his feelings for her, that Ridge would be in trouble with her. Ridge met with Eric and Stephanie and Ashley. Brooke also came in and talked to them all about their "best behavior" so that Ashley didn't get the wrong idea.

Rick, who was surprised by Ashley, was told by her that her job in Hong Kong just didn't turn out to be what she thought it would be and so she decided to try something new. She suggested to Rick that if her presence made it uncomfortable for him, that she would back off. He told her that he was glad that his mother had called her to be a consult for the company. Ashley then wanted to know if he had met anyone in particular, to which he answered "yes" but their were problems. Rick then took her in to meet with Phoebe, Stephanie, Ridge, Eric and Brooke in Paris.

Nick read an article in the paper that suggested "trouble" in the up and coming wedding of Brooke and Ridge. Jackie told him that it might be because of Phoebe and her new love. She suggested that Nick could save Brooke from "that" family again, and have so much more with Brooke this time. Nick told her that Brooke was his past and not to forget it.

Brooke was headed to Australia on business and wanted Ridge to accompany her but he turned her down saying that he had to stay and keep a watchful eye on Phoebe and Rick. Brooke warned him about man-handling her son again, that it would mean the end for them, if he did. Guess who was listening outside of the door, good ole Jackie. Ashley asked Rick if he would be comfortable should she come to work for the company and he implied that things would be okay. Then Phoebe walked in and Ashley could see that there was a connection between the two. When Phoebe left, Ashley asked if "she" (Phoebe) was the trouble that he spoke about and he told her "yes."
