Bold and the Beautiful Recap: February 18, 2008

Stephanie races through the rooms, searching for Eric but doesn't find him. She suddenly heads for the window, as Donna tries to stop her, but Stephanie opens the window and discovers that Eric is nowhere to be found. Fortunately for Eric, he has found a spot hidden out of Stephanie's view where he is hiding with all his clothing in hand. In the car, the private detective sees Eric on the ledge, and starts to take pictures. Stephanie returns to talk with Donna and tell her that just because she didn't find Eric there, it means that she is going to believe that they are not seeing each other. Stephanie mentions that he is seeing someone because some of his "pills" are being used on someone. Donna is surprised when Stephanie says this but tells her that they had an agreement and she is abiding by it. Donna accuses Stephanie for blaming her for something that she cannot help, meaning that Eric still loves her. Ridge and Brooke try to rediscover each other as their problems, once again, are beginning to take their toll on the two of them. After making love with each other, Ridge mentions that his mother is still not believing fully that Eric has returned to her. Brooke tells Ridge that her sister is absolutely inconsolable over her break-up with Eric. He says that because Stephanie feels the way she does, she went so far as to hire a private detective to check up on him. Ridge then mentions that Eric is off right now somewhere with Stephanie going to confront him.

Katie pays an unexpected visit to Nick's place. She tries to explain to him that he has to go on with his life, and not with her sister, Brooke. Nick takes offense to her intruding, but invites her to stay for dinner where he tries to find out more about Katie and why she is so defensive when it comes to men. He has figured out that somewhere down the road, she was terribly hurt by someone. She reminds him that the reason she came over was to get him to stay away from Brooke, not talk about herself.

Donna tells Stephanie that she and Eric are over, but wishes Stephanie in getting back with him, if that is what she wants. Stephanie doesn't quite know what to say, as Donna ushers her out the door. Rushing to the window, Donna helps Eric back inside. In the car downstairs, the private investigator is busy trying to make a deal with someone, on his own. The party is the local newspaper, who runs a front page story of Eric on the ledge in the buff.

Stephanie returns home wondering what to believe, but convinced that if she finds Eric and Donna lying, there will be a price to pay, and it will be Storm heading for prison. She then calls Eric's cell phone to find out where he is, but gets no answer. Instead Eric and Donna are once again making love!!!
