Brooke was stunned as Ridge backed away and told her that he intended to move on with his life, without her. The big contest involving Phoebe, Rick and Constantine was to be held at Insomnia with C.J. leading the bandwagon for more publicity for his club. Rick seethed as Constantine told him to prepare to lose and head back to his "woman" on the side. Ashley told Rick that she intended to tell Ridge about her affair with Rick, so that there would be no secrets between her and Ridge. Brooke was left out of a family celebration, as Ridge brought Ashley to celebrate the holiday with his family. Bridget learned that the chief-of-staff was resigning pending what could become an investigation about Nick and Taylor's baby.
