'The Bold and the Beautiful' Weekly Recap: Week ending May 02, 2008

From Diane Adams, for About.com

The Logan family was devastated by the news that Katie would need a heart transplant in order to survive. Brooke berated Storm because of all the family problems. Storm, in what appeared to be the only way he could make things right, shot himself along with a letter of apology and love to his sisters. In an instant Brooke realized that his doing this was so Katie could receive his heart. The operation went forward and after it was over, Katie finally gasped for breath, as her new heart beat just for her. Stephen Logan, the father, was called to come to California. After arriving Katie began to have trouble and the doctor told the family that she was not accepting the heart. With much pleading from her family, that it was Storm's gift to her, because he loved her, Katie felt that it was all wrong. Causing more problems for her heart, Katie was calmed when the spirit of her brother told her that what he did was his choice and she needed to accept it. Katie's heart beat returned to normal. At the Forrester home, Eric and Stephanie signed their divorce papers. Stephanie, in one of her redeeming moods went on to tell Eric that she had prepared a list for Donna on how to run the Forrester household. Eric ended up calling Stephanie a "class-act". Ridge arrived to tell his father that perhaps he should postpone the wedding because of all the "drama" of the last couple of days, but Eric hadn't talked with Donna as of yet. It was to be Donna's decision. Ridge then went on to tell Eric that the love that he and Stephanie had shared for all those years will never be forgotten, and he needed to think what he was giving up.
