Taylor was surprised to learn from Ridge that Phoebe and Rick's relationship had gone as far as a kiss. Taylor doubted that Ridge was able to put an end to the budding romance.

Stephanie called Eric the same old "unsure of himself" after seeing the new boutique location and doubting himself.

Ridge announced that he wanted to marry Brooke in front of the boutique as the grand opening took place, making it an occasion to be remembered. Phoebe and Rick agreed that as soon as Brooke and Ridge were married, they would tell everyone how they felt about each other.

Stephanie and Ann argued over Ann's refusing to leave the guest house, knowing that Eric would allow her to remain. Pam overheard Eric and Stephanie arguing over her controlling ways. Ann told Pam that Eric was more suited to being with someone like her rather than Stephanie, who was damaged.

Brooke caught the children Rick and Phoebe kissing and acknowledged that she saw nothing wrong but she would have to go to Ridge with the truth.

Taylor and Nick shared a romantic night on his boat before tragedy struck landing Taylor in the hospital unconscious.

Brooke tried to tell Ridge about the relationship between Phoebe and Rick but was interrupted when Jared the fashion reporter announced that gossip was already running rampant about the two.

Stephanie told Brooke that she would tell Ridge about Phoebe and Rick if they ended up causing a scandal, but Brooke held her own when she said that she would call off her wedding to Ridge, if Stephanie tried to interfere in her or the children's lives again.

The Forrester's all rushed to Taylor's side while Nick ousted them from her room at the hospital. Stephanie saw Rick pass a note to Phoebe at the hospital and told Brooke that just because she was able to work her way through every man in the Forrester family, she would make darn well sure that her son didn't do the same.
