Lots going on both in the country and in LA today. Here's the scoop on Tuesday, September 23, 2008's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.
- Taylor, Nick and Jack wake up rested at Big Bear, but Rick notes how hard things have been between mother and son. He tells Taylor he doesn't think things will get better and suggests they might not be a good match for Jack.
- Meanwhile, back in LA, after Ridge and Brooke's midday romp, Brooke grabs the kids to take them to the Apple Festival at Big Bear, a yearly tradition. Before she leaves, she asks Ridge to stop by Bridget's to check on her as she packs to leave Nick.
- Ridge drops by Bridget and Nick's where Nick (once again) tells Bridge he didn't mean to hurt her again. Ridge lays into him for not being trustworthy, but Nick hurls back at him that his future wife isn't exactly trustworthy either. Ridge doesn't let Nick and Brooke's past affect him, but instead tells Nick he doesn't want anything to do with him ever again.
- Bridget tells Nick that if he truly cared about her healing as he says he does, he won't stand in the way of her filing papers. She just wants the relationship to be over with.
- Up at Big Bear, Rick finally tells Taylor that he believes it might be best if Jack return to his genetic family, meaning Brooke. Taylor balks at the idea of her nemesis raising her son.
- Once Brooke and the kids arrive at the cabin, Taylor sees how the children all interact with Jack and takes on a noticeably different view of things. Brooke asks her son why they came up to Big Bear when he knew she would there with the kids. Rick tells her he did it on purpose because they need to conduct an "experiment".
- With a look of defeat, Taylors stands by as Rick explains it might be time for Jack to rejoin his biological family. The episode ends with Brooke asking Taylor is she's considering letting Brooke mother Jack. Taylor breaks down.
