Just because you missed a show, doesn't mean you have to miss a beat. Here's what happened on Thursday, October 2, 2008's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.
- Ridge writes up a Parental Declaration of Intent, which states that all the animosity between those involved stops for the sake of Jack. It also states that they must respect each other's relationships (which Ridge no doubt added quite purposefully, wink-wink) and respect each other as individuals. Nick agrees to the document and signs it.
- As Donna begs Eric to give their relationship a shot due to their love, Eric says he's not sure if love is enough. He needs trust. Donna tells him to look at how many second chances he's given Stephanie and pleads for him to give her just ONE second chance.
- Meanwhile, Stephanie and company sweat that Donna is using her wiles to win Eric back. Felicia threatens to go up and stop the meeting, but Stephanie stops her.
- Back in the bedroom, Eric tells Donna that he doesn't want to be pressured and feels that with Steph and the family is where he needs to be right now. Donna asks him not to close the door on their marriage.
- As Donna tries to leave, Steph, Felicia and Thorne corner her. Donna gloats that Eric did not ask her for a divorce. Steph points out that he didn't ask her to stay, either. Stephanie then boots her kids out of the room and threatens Donna that her marriage to Eric is over. The confrontation continues and the two ladies go toe to toe. Donna warns Stephanie that when it comes to the people she loves, she's tougher than Steph gives her credit for.
- Brooke and Nick sign the document and the custody settlement for Baby Jack becomes official. Brooke thanks Ridge for being so understanding and tells him she thinks everything is going to be perfect.
- At the close of the show, everyone's happiness is disrupted when Katie is struck with severe abdominal pain. Will she lose the baby?(And her tie to Nick?)
