Another exciting beginning to the week on The Bold and the Beautiful. If you didn't catch Monday, October 20, 2008's episode, here's what you missed:
- Taylor continues to sink her claws into Ridge, calling to light their past and the love they shared. She takes every opportunity to hang the whole Brooke/Nick bond over Ridge's head, to no avail. Ridge tells her he'll always cherish their past and their family, but his future is with Brooke.
- Nevertheless, Taylor is bold enough to tell Ridge she cannot go through with her wedding to Rick just in case there was some hope for a future with Ridge.
- Later, she breaks her news to a heartbroken Rick.
- In other news, Eric and Stephanie await Donna's arrival to sign and file the divorce papers. Donna enters, and has Owen with her. Eric is furious that she brings her "lover" with her to sign the divorce papers. Donna says that she does not have a lawyer because she knows Eric will be fair, but that Owen is a paralegal and is there to look over the papers.
- Eric tells Donna he's keeping the house and she stays mum. He wonders why she has nothing to say on the day they're dissolving their marriage. She says that there is nothing she can say.
- As she's stalling while signing the papers, Eric becomes agitated, swipes the papers away from Donna, and signs them himself. After she finally signs, Eric storms out of the room.
- After he leaves, Donna rises and asks Stephanie if she's happy and if this is what she wanted. Steph says "no", that she doesn't want to see Eric hurting. She realizes her sister is to blame and wants to help protect her. And Donna.
- Stephanie makes a proposal to Donna, asking for her help. Donna wonders why she should trust that Steph will help her. Stephanie tells her "because it might help you get what you want most in the world - Eric. So I suggest you agree to help."
