Another busy day for The Bold and the Beautiful. If you missed Wednesday, October 1, 2008's episode, here's what happened:
- Eric is ready to head back to work and, despite his family's worries, the doctor okays him.
- Before he leaves, he calls Donna to the manse and asks for a chat. When she gets there, Donna is hopeful for a reunion and tells Eric so, but he pulls out a tabloid pic of Donna and Owen that was taken on their trip to Paris. The caption read "Mrs. Eric Forrester steps out with a new man." Donna tells Eric it's not what it looks like and that she never slept with Owen. Eric knows what he saw (her in his house kissing another man) and tells her she betrayed him. Donna admits she let him down, but tells him he's her one and only.
- At Chez Marone, Katie tells Nick this isn't exactly how she planned things, but Nick assures her all will be well and that they'll all be one big crazy, happy family.
- At Brooke and Ridge's, Bridget is there to spill her guts and Ridge tells her she can move in if she wants. Bridget thanks them for her support. Later, Ridge surprises Brooke with outfits for Hope, R.J., and Jack to wear at the wedding. Brooke is choked up, but becomes even more so when she finds a gigantic pink diamond ring attached to the ringbearer pillow. Ridge asks for assurance in their relationship and if she wants to be his wife again, to which she blubbers, "Yes".
- At the close of the show, Donna begs Eric to hear her out, but he's already made his decision. She asks if he's going to leave her and go back to Stephanie, and that's where the show ends. Talk about suspense!
