As the World Turns Weekly Recap: Week ending May 25, 2007

Vienna shows Henry the crown jewels of Leonia, which she is wearing hidden under a trench coast. Vienna explains that they just appeared on her neck while she was sleeping. Henry takes Vienna and the jewels to Jack, who has the jewels tested for authenticity. Henry and Vienna point out the obvious to Jack; Simon is the only one who could have put the jewels around Vienna’s neck. The necklace turns has been reconstructed with enough of the real stones and diamonds, that to the naked eyes it looks real. Basically it is good enough so that the prince can save face. Since Vienna is free of all charges add there is nothing keeping her in Oakdale, she decides to leave town. The prospect of losing Vienna proves too much for Henry. He finally admits he wants to be with Vienna, but wants things to move a slower pace this time. She aggress, the two are officially back together.

Jack and Katie make a plan to spend the night together in Chicago. Henry breaks it to Katie that it looks like Simon and Carly are back in town. Katie’s divorce becomes final. Brad selfishly advises Katie to let go of Jack before she gets hurt; Jack and Carly always end up together. Carly receives a text message that says, “It’s done.” Carly reveals herself to Jack at Milltown. The couple shares an awkward/intense/emotional reunion. Carly informs Jack the she is back for gone and things are over with Simon. Jack reminds her that Simon is still a thief and she is still an accessory. Jack relays all the details to Carly regarding the effect her leaving had on the kids, then arrests her. Katie is at the station when Jack brings Carly in. Jack cancels their date after letting Katie know that Carly came back alone and is staying. The Prince drops all charges against Simon and Carly, but there are still the OPD charges against her. Carly manages to convince Jack to let her see the kids. Sage and JJ are thrilled to see Carly. Parker on the hand has nothing but harsh words for his mother. He calls Carly a liar and a thief who is going to jail where she belongs. For the kids sake Jack decides to help Carly, but only if Carly will sign a statement that pins everything on Simon. Eventually Carly agrees to Jack’s terms. After seeing Jack and Carly together in the interrogation room, Katie asks Jack to not help Carly.

Cleo is mugged while sleeping on a bench in Old Town. Will finds a banged up Cleo. He takes her back to the cottage to clean her up. Gwen’s compassion for Cleo kicks into full gear, she informs Cleo that she is going to stay with them.

Allison explains to Emily how she got hooked on the drugs and ended up doing porn. Basically it all went down hill after her and Aaron broke up. Later Lance shows up Oakdale. He uses drugs to attempt to lure Allison back to Vegas. Allison turns him down. Lance threatens to show Susan Allison’s porn video. Allison tells him to do what he has to do. Dusty and Emily fake a break up so Susan will think they are over. Alone Emily gets offended when Dusty claims they will never have a relationship, she believes it is because she is an ex hooker.

Craig is having a rough week, Meg tells him she can’t be his friend, and Margo rebuffs his many attempts to talk. Margo won’t forgive Craig for his part in Daniel’s kidnapping and the effect it had on Tom. Craig vows that Margo is wrong about him. Lucinda rejects Lily’s business plan to start a new company. Lucinda intends to get Worldwide back from Craig. Meg decides that she can’t fake being Craig’s friend anymore, forcing Lucinda to take matters in her own hands. Bob unknowingly helps Lucinda swipes some drugs from an unlocked medicine cabinet at the hospital. La Walsh heads straight to Worldwide a.k.a Montgomery Enterprises, where she manages to slip the drugs in Craig’s coffee. Later Meg runs into an almost gleeful Lucinda and realizes she’s done something to Craig. Meg finds an unconscious Craig on the floor of his office. Immediately Meg, in full-blown nurse mode gives him CPR and an eppi-pen. The paramedics take Craig to the ER. Meg spots Craig's coffee cup, smells it and comes to the conclusion it was poisoned. Meg confronts Lucinda, who eventually in a around about way admits to poisoning Craig. Meg gives Lucinda an ultimatum, promise she won’t pull another stunt like this, or she will take her evidence to Jack. Lucinda agrees but warns Meg that she doesn’t want to end up as one of Lucinda’s enemies.
