As the World Turns Weekly Recap: Week ending February 23, 2007

Jack and Holden give Paul a stern warning to stay away from their kids. Both Parker and Faith end up grounded. Faith finds Meg’s bracelet in the garbage, at Parkers suggestion, keeps it. Lily gets preoccupied with a work call while shopping with Faith. Faith uses the situation to her advantage by, convincing a guilt ridden Lily to let her shop with her friend, even though Faith is grounded. Alone Faith calls Parker, who sneaks out, to meet her in the woods. Parker admits he misses his dad but not his mom. Faith admits she wished her mom would leave Faith gets ready to leave, but a wild dog begins barking at them. Meg’s bracelet falls off Faith’s arm, as the kids climb to higher ground to get away. Paul, who had another vision of a dog barking and the bracelet falling, arrives to help them. While Paul distracts the dog, Parker manages to escape and get help. The wild dog attacks Paul as Faith watches. The dog is scared off, Faith checks on Paul, who notices Meg’s bracelet. Faith explains she had it. Jack, Parker, Brad, Lily and Holden arrive. Jack and Parker share a loving moment after the evenings events. The next day however, Parker is back to his angry, bitter self. JJ and Parker have another fight over Parkers actions. The tension between Holden and Lily builds after the most recent Faith situation. Lily takes more diet pills.

Emily misses another Worldwide meeting causing Dusty to demand she either do the job or she is fired.. Susan and Dusty each wonder what is going on with Emily. Emily decides to work for Madam Cheri. Emily’s first client is forceful, until Emily lets him know she is in charge. Later she hears her client discussing a big network executive’s coke habit. Emily takes the information to Dusty, claiming she has a story that will send papers flying off the shelves.

Maddie freaks out when she sees Adam’s gloved hand. The girls decide that if Adam is found, Gwen will say Adam stole her ring. Later Iris notices Gwen’s muddy hands and missing ring. Gwen lamely covers that she was planting flowers. Outside her place, Gwen washes her hands in the snow and throws her gloves in the garbage, as Iris watches. Margo pumps Gwen for information regarding Adam’s whereabouts. A tense Gwen insists she doesn’t know anything. Margo believes Gwen knows more than she is saying. Iris tries to cause more problems for Will and Gwen, Iris accuses Gwen of being jumpy. Alone with Will, Gwen blames her jumpiness on all of Margo’s questions about Adam. Will gets down on one knee, expresses his love for Gwen, and gives her a new ring. Casey grows concerned Maddie is going to break up with him. Later Tom and Margo discuss their felon children, as Casey listens. Maddie breaks into Adam’s email account to writes an email from him to his loved ones, apologizing for the things he has done, and asking that no one look for him. Maddie and Jade get into it when Jade questions the email because she was not on it. Alone Gwen and Maddie worry that Jade will go looking for Adam. Jade vows Maddie and Gwen will pay fro always turning people against her. Margo announces to Will, Gwen, Maddie and Casey that a body was found in the woods.

When the introduction to Oakdale Now airs, Katie is shocked to learn that not only was Brad left in the show, but that everyone finds it funny. She heads to the farm, interrupting Brad and Vienna’s champagne toast to him, by slapping Brad. Vienna, Katie and Brad continue with their usual banter. Katie almost blows Brad’s tv star cover with Vienna, but lucky for him, Kim comes in offering him a short term contract. Katie throws a fit, giving Kim the ultimatum her Brad. Kim won’t choose between them. A quick talk with Henry suddenly changes Katie’s mind, she will do the show with Brad. Katie later reveals to Henry she plans to let Brad be Brad and he will get himself fired. The next day Brad interrupts Katie’s cooking segment with the wild dog from the night before. The now calm dog, ends up eating Katie’s meatloaf. Kim gives Brad a stern warning to follow protocol, and not purposely try to overshadow Katie. Brad apologizes to Katie but then ends up offending her my mentioning her failed marriage. Jack finds Katie alone in the dark crying about Mike not coming back.

Meg is haunted by vision of her dead patient’s husband saying “You killed my wife”. She unintentionally mixes sleeping pills with alcohol. Craig finds an unconscious Meg in her room. He throws her in the shower to wake her up, then spends time with a groggy Meg trying to sober her up. In the midst of sobering her up he lays it on thick about what a great person she is, she pulls him in for a passionate kiss, the two have sex. Meg answers the door in a sheet to find a bloody Paul on the other side. Paul is devastated to see a half dressed Craig. Paul swears he is going to fight for her. Meg says good bye to him. Meg is visibly upset when Paul leaves. Craig asks Meg to stay with him at Fairwinds. She agrees to think about it offer, but later finds out from the manager that her hotel bill has been paid by Craig. When Craig comes back to get Meg, he learns from the manager that Meg is not leaving. He then finds her working at Al’s. Meg informs him she is taking care of herself.
