Additional Information:

Comedic superstar and crossover sensation Jaime Camil (La Fea Más Bella, Por Ella Soy Eva, Devious Maids) returns to Univision in this delightful new "rom-com" novela guaranteed to win millions of viewers' hearts. He stars alongside the popular Zuria Vega (Un Refugio para el Amor) and a splendid supporting cast featuring Mark Tacher, Ingrid Martz, Arturo Peniche, Roberto Blandón, and veteran actress Sylvia Pasquel, among others.

The upscale Ruizpalacios family has spent a lifetime trying to disprove the cliché that says money can't buy happiness. Their frivolous world revolves around wealth and status -- until the fateful day they find out that their fortune has vanished.

In dire financial straits, the Ruizpalacios are forced to move in with a working class family on the "poor" side of town, where they struggle to adapt to a life without luxuries. Making the transition from caviar to frijoles proves agonizing, and their goodhearted roommates, the Menchacas, must deal with their ridiculously spoiled ways, which provide many funny situations.

Things get more complicated when the stuck-up Miguel Angel (Jaime Camil) and the down-to-earth Lupita (Zuria Vega) fall in love despite their seemingly insurmountable social differences. As both families try to iron out their problems and live together in peace, the Ruizpalacios begin to discover the true worth of family values, loyalty, and the simple things in life -- realizing that Menchacas' riches are the ones that really count, and that the famous cliché was true after all.

Qué Pobres Tan Ricos is produced for Televisa by hit-maker Rosy Ocampo, whose most recent successes include Mentir para Vivir, Por Ella Soy Eva, and La Fea Más Bella.
