Heather Arsenault is a writer and avid fan of soap operas, who especially loves As The World Turns and Guiding Light. She has been actively covering the wide world of soaps since 1998.
Experience:
Heather is part of the TV Generation, the first to grow up with the television as a never-ending companion. She first fell in love with soap operas in 1979, at the age of nine, after being introduced to Another World by a caregiver. Since then, she has been a devoted fan and has written about soap operas online for more than a decade. In that time, she's covered the cancellations of many beloved soap operas such as the aforementioned Another World and Sunset Beach. She's also written about the untimely deaths of some of our most beloved soap actors and actresses including Darlene Conley from The Bold and the Beautiful and Benjamin Hendrickson from As the World Turns.
From Heather Arsenault:
This site offers current soap gossip, information, and breaking news. We also explore the four corners of soap land -- daytime, primetime, web-based, and non-US based soap operas -- which include the best and the worst from the 1950s through today. Having experienced such milestones as Luke and Laura's wedding on General Hospital, Reva's clone on Guiding Light, and the debut of Passions in my soap opera history, I want to make sure that viewers have the opportunity to share their thoughts on the current state of today's soaps.
