"Passions has bad production values, horrible dialogue, and some of the worst acting I have ever seen (yes, I have seen VIP). But I love it, I am drawn to it. It is so ludicrous, so over-the-top, it's great. They repeat everything a hundred times, each episode is 50% flashbacks, and the plots, I swear, are being made-up as the go along. Basically, it's a show that anyone could write, produce, or star in in their spare time and it is so fun to dissect. There are some hilarious web pages (including NBC's own) and I believe all the viewers get that the show is a joke and we still love it..."
