A look at the fall season's new and returning primetime soap operas!

It's that time again! We're approaching the debut of new primetime soaps, and the return of old favorites for yet another new fall season. Each year at this time, many questions are asked by the viewers, the networks, and the creators of these shows. The three biggest being... Which shows will be leaving the air in short order? Who will have the staying power to last a full season? Is XYZ show ready to end it's run? The answers to these questions will soon be determined as we watch this season unfold.
Some changes to take note of:
~ Party of Five has been moved from it's home on Wednesday nights to the Tuesday schedule. The time has not been changed.
~ Felicity has been moved from Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. (Eastern) to Sunday nights at 8 p.m. (Eastern).
Below you'll find a day by day grid and links to show information so that you can plan your viewing. This grid includes my best guess at what new hour long shows we'll consider to be primetime soaps in the upcoming season. These premiere dates are not set in stone. Networks frequently shuffle times and dates around until the very last minute. It is even possible that one or more of these shows could be held until it's needed as a mid-season replacement. This happened last year with Providence.
