Whitney blurts out to her mother that Simone's accident was all her fault.
At the last minute, Whitney decides not to tell Eve she believes Simone saw
her and Chad kissing. Chad remains frustrated that Whitney insists on
staying away from him because of her promise to an unconscious Simone.
Theresa tries to reason with Whitney. Kay alerts everyone when Simone
begins to regain consciousness. A groggy Simone reveals she "dreamt" she
saw her sister and Chad kissing. Whitney freezes when Simone asks her if it
was just a dream. Chad silently urges Whitney to tell Simone the truth.
Hank confides to Luis he hopes to join the Harmony PD.
Luis declares to Pilar he wants to protect Sheridan from her ruthless
family. He hopes she won't be vulnerable to her family's manipulations once
they are married. Pilar and Luis are thankful Alistair is far away, unaware
of just how wrong they are. Over at the cottage, Alistair tells Sheridan
he's come home just for her to make up for the past. The devious patriarch
pretends to be appalled by Julian's plot to destroy her relationship with
Luis. Sheridan is skeptical. She's stunned when her father tells her how
much he loves her. At the same time, Julian uses the listening device to
eavesdrop and is awed by the way Alistair is manipulating his sister's
emotions. Sheridan's resolve weakens as Alistair claims she is the most
important person in the world to him.
