In order to prevent Fox from stopping the adoption, Whitney blurts out that the baby isn't his! However, Whitney quickly backtracks as a livid Fox wonders how he could have fallen in love with such a monster. Whitney feebly offers that she feared he would leave her and she didn't want to be a single mother, but Fox demands she tell him the real reason she gave away "their" baby.

Martin is overjoyed when he runs into Katherine at the park. Pilar spots them together and unleashes her anger at Katherine, warning her to stay out of their marriage. Martin is incensed to learn Alistair physically hurt Katherine while she was on the island, and he attacks Alistair when he shows up.

Sheridan eyes a panicky Beth, confident that Marty will be revealed as her son. Beth and Mrs. Wallace try to escape from the hospital before Dottie can reveal the DNA results.
