Gwen fumes as Fox refuses to help her protect Katherine and instead flirts with a comely female security guard. Fox convinces the guard to join him for a swim and the two share a hot kiss. Meanwhile, Alistair forces a disgusted Katherine to have sex with him as repayment for getting her out of Harmony. Hearing Katherine cry out, Gwen tries to put a stop to Alistair, but fails.

Whitney is tormented when she comes home to a room full of baby stuff Fox had delivered before he left. She worries about Fox's reaction to the adoption.

While fighting over Marty, Beth knocks Sheridan unconscious -- and then prepares to finish the job by choking her to death! However, Luis arrives on the scene, and Beth stammers that she was only defending herself against a crazed Sheridan.
