NBC made the official announcement May 26, months after they normally make such announcements, that Passions was picked up for an eighth season.

Congratulations to McKenzie Westmore and her husband Seven on the birth of son Maddox Westmore Volpone. The baby joined the family May 21 weighing in at 6 lbs., 10 ounces.

Michael Sabatino has been cast as J.T., look for him to first air May 18.

Rib Hillis will play Ethan for four episodes starting May 25.

Kelli McCarty returns as Beth starting May 24.
