Passions 12/06/99
Tabitha watches her book burn. She’s still hopeful that this means she’s getting her powers back. Timmy says the fire is straight from hell. Tabby hopes so. The fire goes out and Tabitha grabs her fireplace poker to investigate. She picks up the book and realizes it’s a book of predictions written by a witch 1000 years ago for 1000 years in the future. Which is now. Tabby opens it and sees predictions about Charity. “The girl of goodness…AKA brat.” Tabitha tells Timmy it predicts that Charity will fall in love. It predicts that if Charity finds love she’ll destroy all evil in Harmony. It goes on to say that her powers will be increased by the love of a boy that saves her from two fires. That would be Miguel.
They decide to enlist Kay’s help to keep Miguel and Charity apart.
Over at the Bennett house, Miguel is ecstatic that Charity has agreed to date him again. Jessica tells Charity that she’ll help make her beautiful for her first date. Charity heads into the other room and finds Grace and Sam making out. She tells them that she and Miguel are going out on their first date. She wants Grace to help her with her hair. Grace follows Charity upstairs where Charity is beaming and grinning like a fool and gushing about Miguel.
Outside Kay tells Simone she’ll face the fact that it’s over forever. She mourns the loss of Miguel. Jessica eavesdrops as Kay bemoans the fact that she’s lost Miguel. Simone tells Kay that she has a case of the “middle child blues.” She should be thankful for the life she has.
Downstairs Sam grills Reese about the Halloween dance…he tells him that he’s heard about him kissing Kay. He gives his blessing for Reese to date his daughter. Reese and Miguel leave and Jessica comes in. She’s bummed about Kay. She tells Sam that Kay feels unloved.
Sam goes outside to talk to Kay. He asks her what’s wrong. She won’t tell him, but he says he knows it’s about Miguel. Theresa is shocked. He tells her that he just deduced it…he explains that he realizes that she’s upset because her “buddy” Miguel is getting into a relationship. He urges Kay to date Reese, he’d be happy to have him as son-in-law.
Simone comes back out and Kay explains what they were talking about. Tabitha is on the other side of the shrubs eavesdropping. She hears Kay say that she’s lost Miguel forever.
Miguel comes to the house to pick up Charity. Grace, Jessica, and Charity all come down the stairs. Ethan gazes at Charity and tells her she looks beautiful. Grace gets set to take tons of photos. Charity insists that Kay be in them. She goes out get Kay and asks her to come in so they can take family shots. Charity heads back to the family room and Kay sends Simone in. She says there is no way she can take pictures now.
Simone goes inside and Tabitha pops up from the other side of the hedge. She tells Kay she may be able to help her.
In Theresa’s room Gwen looks around and Theresa turns to her. Just then Whitney comes to the hallway and asks why they’re standing out there. She urges them to come in. When they enter Gwen gets on the phone and Whitney shows Theresa that she’s removed all the pictures of Ethan.
Ethan is confused as to why Gwen would go to Theresa’s. He heads over to the Lopez-Fitzgerald house.
The girls are still in the room when they hear Ethan downstairs. He comes up and enters the room. He tells Gwen he’s there to talk to her. They get into another argument about Theresa and the cabin while Theresa and Whitney look on nervously because Gwen has a picture of Ethan under the heel of her shoe.
Gwen notices something under her shoe and Whitney dives for it. She says it’s an old article about Arthur Ash she’s been saving. Ethan makes apologies and then Gwen and Ethan leave. Theresa and Whitney are relieved and glad that Theresa has escaped detection once again.
Downstairs Ethan rips into Gwen, as upstairs Theresa and Whitney try to eavesdrop. He demands that Gwen apologize. Gwen refuses to let go of her idea that Theresa is after Ethan. Gwen leaves and Theresa rushes downstairs. She tells Ethan that she thinks he needs her now.
At the cabin Sheridan is deliriously going on and on about the man of her dreams. She thinks Luis is that man. She makes him promise not to leave her. She then grabs his face and starts to kiss him passionately. Sheridan passes out again and the fire goes out. Luis looks at the fireplace and sees that the rain is coming down it. He worries about keeping Sheridan warm.
Luis comes up with a plan and starts to strip naked. When he has all of his clothes off he climbs into bed with Sheridan and holds her. Sheridan turns to him and begs him to make love to her.
