- Congratulations to Bill Bell Jr. (President Bell-Phillip Television Productions) and his wife Maria on the birth of their baby daughter Sabrina Rose, July 1st.
- Belated welcome to Lisa Arrindell Anderson. Lisa has joined As the World Turns as Valerie, the Reverand Dansby's niece.
- Look for Lauren C. Mayhew to join Guiding Light in the role of Marah. Her first air date is July 30th.
- Belated happy birthday to Michael Park (Jack, As the World Turns) on July 20th! Here's to many more!!
- Other July birthdays include Beth Ehlers (Harley, Guiding Light) on July 23, and Bobbie Eakes (Macy, Bold and the Beautiful) July 25 shares her birthday with co-star Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke, Bold and the Beautiful.) Of course we can't forget As the World Turns', Kathryn Hays (Kim) who celebrates her birthday on July 26th.
- Doc moves to the captains chair. Bernie Kopell best known for his role on The Love Boat as the ships doctor is going to join Sunset Beach in the role of Captain Nelson, a captain of a cruise ship (Isn't that ironic). He'll first air on July 29th.
- Expect Kim Zimmer (Reva-Dolly, Guiding Light) to be around for another 3 years. That's the rumored lenght of her re-newed contract.
