Another World is the only soap I watch. I have tried to get interested in other soaps, but could not. Since I work, I tape Another World and enjoy it on weekends. I don't think I could get interested in another soap. The end of Another World will be like the end of an extended family. The same actor/actresses have portrayed Cass, Felicia and Rachel for many years and I will sincerely miss them. Also, Jensen who plays Vicky. I would like to say thank you to the entire cast for the wonderful job they have done throughout the years. You all will be dearly missed.

I've watched Another World since I was 8 years old, I'm 36 now. My Mom, sister, and aunt all watch. It has been a part of my life for so long, I can't hardly remember a time when I didn't watch AW. I will miss the wonderful stories, the rich, loving characters, the beautiful sets and clothes, the history, and most importantly, the feel of family that always pervaded AW. My family shared so many discussions about our show. When I was little, my Mom laid a sheet on the floor in front of a fan in the summer to get us to be quiet so she could have an hour to rest and watch AW. Now, I tape the show and use it for my escape time away from a busy home and work life. I am so hurt and upset that it is being torn away from all of us who love it so much. I know full well that it is a "show" and make-believe, but it has been such an important part of my life, too. I lost my Dad February 26 this year. I feel that I'm losing yet another link to him. He watched with my Mom once he retired. He would never admit that he wanted to watch, but he always reminded my Mom in plenty of time to come and watch "her" soap!! Thank you a thousand times to the wonderful cast and crew. There are so many story lines that I can think back about as favorites over the years. So many actors that I remember so well. I have hoped against hope that someone would hear us and save AW, but I feel it for naught. I already don't watch NBC except to tape AW, and my whole family is skipping the network, too. I am the shopper for my household, I used to be a loyal viewer and consumer. Now I will choose to spend my money and viewing time on different companies that deserve my respect and hard earned time and money! I am glad to have met so many nice people on chat and to see that the show I love means so much to so many others, too.

Thirty-Five years of daytime EXCELLENCE is what ANOTHER WORLD is and was all about. Victoria Wyndam it is not going to be the same with you on Another World, Rachel was my favorite and I really loved the way you evolved. I guess I became mesmerized by your character when you fell or rather Mac Corey fell in love with you and you started developing a real sense of who you were and who you could be. Another World showed daytime at its very best. The actors and actresses thru its entire 35 years could more than hold their own on any stage without question.( A touring show of Another World to be played on stage ) I bet would draw crowds. Another World we loved you you were the best BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO.

-Archermar A fan of 35 years

If I were to be asked what Another World character, actor or story line was the most favorite of mine, it would be impossible to answer. I have watched the show for the whole 35 years and all of it has been incredible.

I admire Victoria Wyndham; Rachel, because through the years Rachel grew from a spoiled, selfish girl, who would stop at nothing to get what she wanted, to a lovely woman. I watched Victoria Wyndham grow from a young actress, into a professional, filled with integrity and grace.

Throughout all of these years the story lines have always been in good taste, dealing with important issues of the day, blended with just enough humor to make it realistic and very enjoyable.

The dialog on Another World has always been fresh and new. The writers have kept variety and interest in it. The writers have kept the story line alive and vibrant, moving at a fast pace, not dragged out as in some soaps.

There are so many good things that could be said about Another World, but then I would have to write a book. I loved all the characters, they seem like such good friends. I will miss them all.

There is no one person, or on one thing that has made Another World the terrific show that it is. The cast, the writers, makeup and wardrobe members, people who built such beautiful sets, and so many others behind the scenes, that we never see. They all together make up a wonderful team, that has done a most outstanding job, for so many years.

To all of you that have worked so hard to make Another World a fantastic show, I salute you! Thanks for a job, so very well done!

I was only 5 years old when AW started, but, I remember my grandmother and great-grandmother sitting down and watching this show. As I got older, I became completely taken with AW and my grandmother couldn't keep me out of the living room to watch the shows. As, I became an adult, the show still kept my attention and I kept up with it as best I could while I was working. Then, in 1984, I finally got a VCR, and God bless the person or persons who invented that wonderful machine!!, and I was finally able to start taping AW and watching each day for myself!! AW has been the classiest soap on the air for years. IMHO, there is no show who can beat AW in the class department. AW has been a show that focused on family and friends and what real relationships are about. When this show goes off the air, I become a former soap viewer. There is no show that can hold a candle to AW!!

I HAVE WATCHED ANOTHER WORLD FOR A LONG TIME I USE TO WATCH THIS WITH MY MOM WHO IS NO LONGER WITH US. I CAN REMEMBER HER TALKING ABOUT THE CHARACTERS LIKE THEY WERE A PART OF HER FAMILY...AS I BECAME AN ADULT AND ON MY OWN I CONTINUED TO WATCH. IT REALLY SADDENS ME THAT THEY ARE TAKING OFF SUCH A VERY WELL PUT TOGETHER PROGRAM AND THERE ARE OTHERS THAT COULD HAVE BEEN CANCELED. THIS PROGRAM DEALT WITH REAL TO LIFE PROBLEMS THAT MANY PEOPLE FACE AND IT IS SUCH A SHAME THEY ARE TAKING IT OFF THE AIR. WHY NOT TAKE OFF SOME OF THESE TALK SHOWS THAT ARE ON AND THERE ARE SO MANY OF THOSE AND THEY REALLY GET OLD AND THE SAME TOPIC IS TALKED ABOUT ON EACH SHOW. YOU'LL BE SORRY AS I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE GOING TO NOT WATCH NBC PROGRAMMING THEY WILL CHANGE THE PROGRAMS THAT THEY WATCH.... THANKS!
