PASSIONS: TIMMY THE DOLL
I think 'Timmy" is THE ugliest - stupidest character on any TV show - not
just soaps - it would be nice to blame any criticism of the show on former
"disgruntled" AW watchers - but that would be too kind to a show that
is so pathetically amateurish - I've seen high school plays with better acting -
I think the show sucks and is an embarrassment to any viewer - and I had never
even really HEARD of AW before it was cancelled. -ALLISOS

ADDICTED TO PROVIDENCE
You could have knocked me over with a feather when I fell in love with
Providence. The trials and tribulations of the Hanson family have drawn me in to
the point that I rearranged my week around Friday at 8pm. The season ender
almost ended me...lots of Kleenex were used that night. Does anyone else out
there feel the same way about Providence? -NewSoapFan

CORONATION STREET AND EAST ENDERS
Both have something in common - they represent different working class
communities - one set in the city of Manchester in the north of England, and the
other in the east end of London. The drabness of Coronation Street is because it
intends to reflect the reality of living in such a community. Whilst it is a
little caricatured, it nevertheless captures the atmosphere of such communities.
However, the dialogue is actually quite amusing, unlike East Enders which makes
life quite depressing. -DELLBOY2
