How To Make a Primetime Episode Guide

From Heather Arsenault, for About.com

Easy guide to making your own primetime episode guide.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 60 minutes

Here's How:

  1. Choose a favorite show you want to focus on.
  2. Check the TV Listing each week for the current show's title.
  3. Number the show titles, ie: season one, episode one would be 'Title Here' 1.1
  4. Include the original air date for each episode.
  5. Watch the show each week.
  6. Write a brief two to four line description of each show.
  7. Post the description beneath the numbered title.
  8. Compile this information each time a new episode airs.
  9. Post on the Internet for other fans to enjoy.

Tips:

  1. The preferable time to pick a show is at the beginning of a new season.
  2. The first show of the series is always the best time to start an episode guide.
  3. If you start a public episode guide (posted for others to read) it's considered good etiquette to at least chronicle a full season of shows.
