The adoption proceedings begin, and of course goes off without a hitch. Thanks to Rebecca Skankwitch seducing the judge. This woman has absolutely no shame and cannot even pretend to act like this whole situation isn’t a machination by Crane money. Little Ethan’s name is changed to Ethan Winthrop, Jr. and the show ends with Theresa telling Ethan to get out of her face... Gwen gloats and says, with pleasure let’s go see our son. Theresa vows revenge.
Best part of the week- Not any one character in particular but at the pace of the show... a lot happened this week... and if they keep this pace up we just might see some storylines get resolved. (Lets all hope)
Worst part of the week- Whitney. This crybaby, whiny, self-righteous brat needs to DO something. She is constantly dogging her mother. Show a little respect, Whitney that slimy cheater gave you life, and kept you in the life to which you have become accustomed, paid for your tennis lessons, and continually takes your abuse. No matter what she has done she is your mother, and you should give her a little respect. They are slowly morphing Whitney into Simone... a one-dimensional character with 5 lines to her acting repertoire.
And now for my RANT OF THE WEEK- Jeers to Passions for their blatant lies in a promo this week. The promos showed Gwen and Theresa in the bathroom and talked about the woman who wont give up and showed Theresa, knife in hand, and Gwen, terrified for her life. Yet we were treated to Theresa, on bended knee pleading for Gwen to give her pity and return her son. This is ridiculous. And such an embarrassment on the part of production editors for Passions. THIS IS THE REASON WHY people tune out because you never give them what they want. Not only that you lie in promos to get people to watch the show... when they tune in only to find that you have bent the truth once again. And you wonder why your ratings are in the toilet. Ask anyone interested in the Gwen/Theresa storyline... and they would tell you that they would love to see Theresa slice Gwen. Even the Gwen lovers because Theresa hasn’t done anything evil in a while, and they are losing ground in the debates. Theresa fans are sick of seeing Theresa grovel to a woman who doesn’t deserve anyone’s begging. Both sets of fans are ready for the other shoe to drop and for the roles to be reversed. Because we all know that JER lets each character have their heyday for a while, only to get smacked down. Lets get that started so the show will be more watchable. Each woman is gifted in their portrayal of a woman wanting revenge so lets see both sides. Continuing this storyline in the way it has played out is a waste of both Liza and Lindsay’s talent.
