Gwen calls Theresa a psycho and brings up the stabbing at the cabin (lots of references to lil Ethan’s birth this week—could this be the writers gearing up to give us what we want.. the news that Ethan is little Ethan’s father?? Gawd, I hope so) The judge gets sexually molested by Rebecca’s womanly wiles and agrees to take custody away from Theresa permanently. Chad tells Ethan what he thinks of him, since Ethan won’t stand up for Theresa (way to go CHAD!! Loving people FINALLY telling Ethan what they think of him—maybe this will wake him up) Gwen brings up the adoption of lil E to Ethan again.. and again Ethan balks and says that he would never do that to Theresa. Gwen loses it, and rails at Ethan. (of course—the hypocrisy is dripping here) and Gwen storms out of the courtroom.

Theresa is devastated at the loss of her son. Whitney and Fox try to console her, and help her find a job and an apartment. Theresa cannot bear the loss of little Ethan, so she decides to kidnap little Ethan and go to Pilar’s family out of the country for help. Whit and Fox try to talk her out of it—but to no avail. So Fox offers to help. Theresa says a tearful goodbye and heads to the Crane Mansion. (loving Fox’s determination to support Theresa—even when her ideas aren’t good. Theresa—kidnapping your son has never worked before—and it won’t work now) Fox sneaks Theresa into the manse and gives her some money and tells him to take her car.. FOX and THERESA share their first “I love you’s..” It was a touching moment—and I am LOVING what the writers are doing with these two. Theresa gets busted at the door as Crane Security holds her at gunpoint.

Eve diagnoses Pilar with a mysterious, rare, deadly blood disorder. (C’mon writers—can’t we use a REAL medical diagnosis.. like Leukemia or something??) Pilar says that she has no money for treatment and cannot stand that she could lose her life. Eve promises to use the Crane Foundation money at the hospital to help Pilar. (I would like to announce that I will be opening up a betting pool on the “mysterious” dangerous drug that will save Pilar once Paloma returns to Harmony.. STUPID WRITERS) Eve then confides her past with Julian to Pilar, including the fact that she and Julian shared a child. This was wonderful to see.. the more people who know.. the more likely this story is FINALLY gonna come out.

Gwen and Ethan return to the mansion, and Gwen turns on the waterworks, tries to guilt Ethan into adopting little Ethan, but he won’t budge. They end in a fight.. and Gwen heads to see Sheridan. She finds Sheridan throwing out/burning pictures of her and Luis.. and says that while she understands that Sheridan has chosen Antonio—that you just can’t forget a past love.. (HELLO GWEN—then why are you constantly bringing up the fact that Ethan remembers his love for Theresa—Gwenocrite STRIKES AGAIN) She tells Sheridan of her plan to adopt little Ethan.. and Sheridan is SHOCKED. (Good—finally, people are disagreeing with Gwen, rather than just smiling and nodding with all of her wants) Sheridan does not agree with taking a child from his mother. Sheridan mentions that Gwen and Ethan could use a surrogate mother and actually have their own biological child. Gwen laments that she didn’t even think of that option (yeah—being blinded by revenge will completely remove any person’s reasonable thoughts—I can only imagine what it would do in a psycho like YOU, Gwen) Gwen mentions using a surrogate to Rebecca, who says that they can do that AFTER they adopt little Ethan—and Gwen starts to backpedal.. maybe they won’t adopt little Ethan after all—but Rebecca loses it.. and says she “has not done all this work to not get what her plan originally intended.. which is to punish Theresa for Gwen’s stupidity (okay—I’m paraphrasing here—but we all know that whether they admit it or not—this is the truth).. thereby disproving that the evil stepmother routine is just an act. Rebecca is evil personified.. and will not let Gwen reneg on the adoption process. Gwen goes to Ethan, and mentions the surrogate mother plan, but that she still wants to adopt lil Ethan.. Ethan refuses to back down.. and Gwen shows what a brat she really is. “Ethan—you promised me that we would adopt ANY child I want.. and I want little Ethan.” What a spoiled brat.

High point of the week: Seeing Luis “made over” as the old geezer applying for a job at Crane Industries. The makeup work and costumers did a FANTASTIC job here.

Low point of the week: Pilar comes to the conclusion that Chad is Eve and Julian’s son—NO NO NO NO.. they cannot do this. The timing doesn’t match.. Eve and Julian’s child was born in Boston, Chad was born in Harmony. Besides the fact that by having Chad and Whitney as lovers.. INCEST is the worst thing this show could do—and will only serve to drive even more viewers away.
