- Visit soap opera message boards and forums and post an introduction.
- Go to official and unofficial soap opera chats for your favorite shows.
- Join interactive mailing lists for the soaps you watch.
- Visit the Usenet newsgroups for the different soaps and stars that you watch.
- Post messages about the current storylines.
- Ask questions.
- Provide answers for other fan's questions.
- Join in ongoing conversations.
Tips:
- In your message board or newsgroup introductions, make sure you share which shows you watch. If you do so, other fans are sure to respond in the same.
- Many fans go to chats in order to network with other fans with similar tastes. Good friendships can be formed in a chatroom.
- Just keep posting away. Eventually you'll click in one community or another and you may find yourself never wanting to leave.
