I have been taping The Young & the Restless, but don’t really care to watch. I can’t believe they had Adam hit Delia, her die and then Conner get her corneas. This is just too too sad to watch, shame on the writers.
I feel extra bad for Adam, what he has to live with is worse than the other stuff he pulled. They didn’t need Delia to die!!!! I don’t know when I’ll be able to watch the story again.

I have to agree with you — killing of Delia to further a storyline with Adam was too much for me as well. Similar stories with such major impact involving a young child HAVE been done, however, on other soaps (the BJ/heart transplant on GH comes to mind) but in THAT case the child that was injured and ultimately died was NOT due to or at the hands of a well known character on the show that half of the viewers hated.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) is supposed to be little Delia’s funeral and I, for one, am probably not going to watch. TOO much sadness on a show is a turnoff, regardless of the reasons to further along a storyline!
