As many of you know, yesterday was the final day of taping for the ABC production of All My Children. And, while we're still all waiting to find out the next move for the online production, it is of course, the end of an era. Rebecca Budig (Greenlee) and Cameron Mathison (Ryan), who are best buds in real life, shared their very emotional reactions as the last day of taping approached. And, yes, there were tears.
Cameron: "I've had the best years of my life, some of the hardest too, [on this show]. But it's amazing to think back, it's overwhelming... There is a phenomenal amount of memories and relationships and a new family here that maybe I've taken for granted because I thought it would be around forever."
Rebecca: "Up to this point, I've been like, 'Well, it's TV. Shows get canceled all the time. But all of a sudden, I was like, wait a minute. I've gotten the best friends of my life here. We've spent so many years together, formative years... It's a lot to take in."
Keep checking in here for more with Rebecca, Cameron and the rest of the cast as we get ready to say goodbye to All My Children on ABC.

I love AMC and have been watching it since the very beginning. I hate it that All My Children is ending. I looked forward to it every day that it was on and it is a sad time AMC will not be on anymore. Then take everyone of them off then that is my opinion. You are takling the best one off and I hate it.
I’m so disgusted that they are canceling AMC and OLTL. I practically grew up with both soaps. I have no intention of watching THE CHEW or anything else they might throw at us. There are enough cooking shows as there is. I think that the soap fans should come together and boycott ABC.
I, too, am so disappointed that AMC is going off the air. I think ABC is making a big mistake. Some of us have been watching for 25+ years. It’s an emotional release. It helps me feel better. I can get out my my own daily grind and stresses and relax with the love and chaos in Pine Valley. Even my Mom who is 87 loves the show. I wish they would re-think this decision. I watch a lot of good TV. From NCIS, to Blue Bloods, to Anderson Cooper to AMC. You are taking away my favorite. Shame on ABC.
Sad Amy
Can’t believe this show is being cancelled. I work all day, I tape them and watch at night. Seems silly to get so involved in the lives and stories of a soap opera, but it sure beats reality TV!!!
