Chatting with 'All My Children' Star Alicia Minshew

From Beth Cochran, About.com GuideAugust 5, 2011

Alicia MinshewI just got off the phone with Alicia Minshew (Kendall). What a sweet and genuine person. We chatted about everything from the return of Thorsten Kaye's Zach to her all-time favorite All My Children storylines over the years. I also asked her if she is open to continuing as Kendall if and when AMC does indeed end up online.  "I think it's great and I'm open to anything," she says. "I don't know when they will start up again. I'm open to something new, but I want to keep acting and it only makes sense that if I don't hear anything after too long, I would audition and see what's out there. But I have it tucked away in my brain that I will hear from them soon and I'm keeping it open as an option. We're all going to do our best through August 31 [AMC's last tape date on ABC] and then we'll see what happens."

I wish she would sign up on online version of AMC they need her as Kendall. Without Kendall/AM or a recast for this fan it will make it harder for me to follow the show online.

I feel insulted that ABC would air another freakin cooking show- as if it’s 1955 and we have no options…ofcourse I will follow online, it’s better than watching fat bald guys in orange crocks make me feel bad about my cooking skills. “The Chew?” Really? the trailers are obnoxious.

Only a few shows I watch on ABC. When they are gone so am I. ABC is getting worse and worse. To take my soaps off is a disgrace!!!
